Richard E. Lytle, CPA, received a BBA degree in accounting from Texas A&M University in 1976 graduating Summa Cum Laude. Richard was awarded a full fellowship to continue his studies at Texas A&M and received an MBA in 1977. During college, he was active in numerous campus organizations including serving as President of Beta Alpha Psi. While in graduate school Richard taught accounting as well as published various articles in professional publications.

Richard has spent twenty-nine years practicing public accounting in Houston. He began his career with Ernst & Ernst from 1977 to 1979. Since 1979 he has been with Lytle & Wilson, P.C. Richard is a member of the Texas Society of CPAs, the Houston Chapter of the TSCPA and the American Institute of CPAs.

The areas of Richard’s practice include audit, tax planning and consulting for individuals, fiduciaries and businesses, as well as tax preparation for individuals, businesses, trusts, estates and partnerships.

Richard is married and has three daughters. He is active in the community and his church having served as Chairman of the Finance Committee and Sunday School teacher.

C. Patrick Wilson, CPA, PFS, received his Bachelor’s degree in accounting from McNeese State University in 1971, performed MBA graduate studies at the University of Houston, and was awarded the Personal Financial Specialist designation from the AICPA in 1993. Mr. Wilson also obtained Series 22, Series 63 and Series 7 securities licenses.

A CPA licensed in Texas and Louisiana since 1974, he has thirty-five years experience in public accounting and industry. His public accounting experience has been with local, regional and international firms. (Horn, Wallace & Cole, Hein & Associates and Grant Thornton). He is currently an officer and shareholder in a local firm, Lytle & Wilson, P.C. His practice areas are consulting, tax and financial planning for closely held businesses, individuals, trusts, partnerships and corporations involved in construction, manufacturing, health care and professional services.

Active in the Houston Chapter of TSCPA, Mr. Wilson has written numerous articles for the Forum, Houston Business Journal and Today’s CPA and received the “Outstanding Newsletter Article Award” in 1991. He has spoken to organizations including AARP, Houston Inventors Association, H.C. Advisory Services, Houston Dental Society and the CPA Club on various tax and financial planning topics. He also serves on the finance committee and Board of Directors of Sheltering Arms Senior Services and is Past Treasurer and Past President of the Exchange Club of the Galleria.

Mr. Wilson is married to the former Susan Jo Goodspeed. They have four children, Jonathan, Eric, Claire and Emma.
